Head coach of "Turan Tovuz", Kurban Berdiyev, who agreed to a 1-1 draw with "Neftchi" away in the 9th round of the Misli Premier League, answered journalists' questions at the press conference held after the match. Sport24.az reports that the experienced specialist first evaluated the match:
– I thanked the players for their effort and determination in the changing room. We were the dominant side on the pitch until the opposing team was reduced. After the red card, we had many opportunities and goal episodes in attack, but unfortunately, we could not convert any of them. It is very frustrating for us that we could not get 3 points in a match where we should have won.
– Do you consider the draw as 1 earned point or 2 lost points?
– I think we lost 2 points in Baku today.
– How do you evaluate the goalkeeper's intervention in the goal episode you saw on your own goal?
– In that episode, it was not just the goalkeeper but the whole team who made a mistake. One cannot solely blame one person there; there were many small details.
