PSG player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has etched his name in Champions League history.
According to Idman.Biz, citing Opta Sports, the winger became the first player in tournament history to register a goal contribution in seven consecutive playoff matches in a single Champions League season.
Kvaratskhelia achieved this new milestone in the semi-final second leg against Bayern in Munich. In the opening minutes of the game, the Georgian player provided the assist to Ousmane Dembélé, who opened the scoring.
It should be noted that previously no one had achieved such a goalscoring streak in the playoff stage of Europe's top tournament.
