"I think Hajduk is the favorite of the pair. But that's not so important."
Idman.biz reports that these words were said by Ivan Brkic, the former goalkeeper of "Neftchi", in his statement to Sport24.az.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper, who currently wears the uniform of the Polish representative "Motor", shared his thoughts on the "Zira" - "Hajduk" (Croatia) duel, which will be held in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
The Croatian player said that the Split representative has not been able to show itself much in Europe in recent years: "The team has sometimes lost to very low-level clubs. "Zira" should be careful against Marko Livaja. He is, in my opinion and according to many, a world-class football player."
Brkic added that "Hajduk" fans create a great atmosphere: "I think "Zira" has never experienced such an atmosphere before."
It should be noted that the first match between the teams will be held on July 23 at the "Neftchi Arena", and the return match will be held on the 31st at the "Polyud" stadium in Split.
