Insider Fabrizio Romano commented on the information about a possible transfer of the French forward Karim Benzema, who is currently clubless, to "Barcelona".
İdman.Biz reports that the insider said the 38‑year‑old striker's services have not been offered to the Catalan club and that the circulating information is not true.
After terminating his contract with "Al‑Hilal", Benzema has not been able to find a club.
"Barcelona" tried to strengthen its attack line during the summer transfer window and consequently transferred Gabriel Jesus from "Arsenal" for about 10 million euros.
Note that before heading to Saudi Arabia, Benzema played for 14 years at "Real Madrid", the historic rival of "Barcelona".
