Farid Hajiyev, who officiates Misli Premier League games, has not been appointed as a chief referee for championship matches for two months. Sport24.az clarified the reason during its investigation into the matter.
It turned out that Hajiyev, unlike some of his colleagues, did not fall into the "blacklist" of Rahim Hasanov, chairman of the AFFA Referees Committee.
Thus, the reason why the referee has not received appointments since the beginning of March is related to an injury. The justice representative, who suffered a serious injury, finished the season ahead of schedule as a chief referee.
Currently, Farid Hajiyev only receives appointments as a VAR referee.
