Despite Bayern's defeat to PSG, Kane has written his name in Champions League history with his incredible performance.
Lent.az reports that the Champions League semi-final match between Bayern and PSG previously took place on May 6. Although Harry Kane scored in the return leg, it was not enough to qualify for the final. Nevertheless, the Englishman broke his personal record.
It is noted that the Munich team's striker scored 54 goals in his first 70 Champions League games, thus almost equaling Ruud van Nistelrooy, who scored 55 goals in 70 games.
Before Kane's achievement, Manchester City player Erling Haaland had the same statistics, scoring 57 goals in 58 games.
Kane also matched Ronaldo's record of scoring in six consecutive Champions League play-off matches this season. Previously, only the Portuguese had achieved this feat in the 2012/13 season.
