Turkish football club Galatasaray has announced that it has filed a complaint with law enforcement agencies about some social media users.
Sports.Biz reports that this is stated in a statement released by the Istanbul representative.
"As Galatasaray Sports Club, we will continue to use our legal rights regarding statements and posts that target our club, management, athletes, and millions of fans, which are considered to contain hate speech and may disrupt public peace" – the statement reads.
The statement concludes that Galatasaray Sports Club will continue to follow all necessary legal procedures within the framework of the rule of law to counter illegal actions targeting its corporate reputation, members, and fans.
