The football tournament dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, jointly organized by AFFA and the Student Trade Union Committee of Baku State University (BSU) within the framework of the UEFA "Hat-Trick" program, has come to an end.

It was noted that the competition held among student teams representing various faculties of BSU was of great importance in terms of reviving university sports life and promoting a healthy lifestyle among students.
The decisive matches of the competition took place at the BSU football field. In the match for third place, the team of the Faculty of International Relations and Economics defeated the team of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics with a score of 5:1 and became the bronze medalist.
In the final match, the team of the Faculty of History defeated the team of the Faculty of Law with a score of 1:0 and won the tournament.
At the end, the champion team was awarded a cup by AFFA, and the top three teams were awarded with appropriate medals and diplomas. In addition, participants who stood out with their individual performances during the competition were awarded special prizes in various nominations.
The award ceremony was attended by Farrukh Ismayilov, head of the AFFA Mass Football Department, and Alish Agamirzayev, BSU's Vice-Rector for Social Affairs, Work with Students and Public Relations.
They congratulated the winning and prize-winning teams and presented cups and awards.
It should be noted that AFFA and BSU are planning to implement joint projects in this direction in the future.
