A football festival for 8-10 year old girls was held within the framework of the "FIFA Women's Development Programme" with the organization of AFFA and the support of FIFA.

62 girls participated in the event held at secondary school No. 1 named after Mirza Ulugbey in the city of Fuzuli.
Simple football training, relay games and fun activities were organized for the participants within the program. Also, a photo zone was created with the players of the national team, and coaches showed the initial rules of handling the ball. The girls had fun and had the opportunity to develop their football skills.
The head of the AFFA Women's Football Department, Zumrud Agayeva, coaches, players and association representatives of the Azerbaijani women's national team participated in the event. Madina Curuqova, a member of the national team, was chosen as the young ambassador of the festival.
Participants were provided with sportswear, balls and jackets by AFFA.
It is planned to hold such festivals regularly in the future. The main goal of organizing the project is to promote a healthy lifestyle among girls, increase interest in football, and prepare them for leagues and national teams in the future.
