Santos striker Neymar clashed with Robinho Junior, son of former Brazilian national team player Robinho, during training.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the incident occurred during training on the club's training ground. The 34-year-old footballer was unhappy that his 18-year-old teammate beat him during the game and took it as disrespect.
Neymar called on Robinho to calm down, but the conversation quickly turned into a physical fight, resulting in pushing.
According to the witness, the older player even punched the young player in the face. He then angrily tripped Neymar Junior and knocked him to the ground.
Santos and Robinho's agent declined to comment on the incident, while Neymar's entourage said they were unaware of the situation.
It later became known that Neymar spoke with Robinho Junior at the club's training ground after training and apologized for his emotional reaction. According to sources, the conflict between the players has been resolved.
