"Neftchi" is facing a transfer ban from FIFA. FIFA's official portal has placed the "white-blacks" on the red list and imposed a transfer ban on the club.
Lent.az, citing apasport.az, reports that the reason for this was the Alessio Curci transfer, which took place at the beginning of the season.
Thus, an agreement was reached with the other party in the form of partial payment during Curci's transfer. Due to delays in partial payments, the Belgian club "Francs Borains," to which the football player was transferred, informed FIFA about this.
The Neftchi side has already resolved this issue, and the sent document has been approved by the Belgian representative and FIFA.
It is said that the transfer ban will be lifted today, at the latest tomorrow.
It should be noted that clubs on FIFA's transfer ban list cannot register new players if they do not fulfill their debts or obligations. It is reported that since the problem in "Neftchi" is expected to be resolved soon, it will not seriously affect summer transfer plans.
