Liverpool forward Federico Chiesa has left the Italian national team camp.
Idman.Biz reports that the information was provided on the official website of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC).
"Federico Chiesa, whose condition was assessed after arriving at the Federal Technical Center, will not be able to participate in the next two matches and, by agreement with his club, has left the national team training camp. Nicolo Cambiaghi from Bologna has been called up in his place," FIGC said.
On March 26, Italy will face Northern Ireland in the semi-final of the play-off for a spot in the 2026 World Cup. If they pass the stage, the "Squadra Azzurra" will play the winner of the Wales-Bosnia and Herzegovina match.
