The use of the "Eyeball" analytics platform is being expanded in Azerbaijani football in the direction of the application of modern technologies.
Idman.Biz reports that the project implemented by AFFA covers both men's and women's football. The system includes U-15, U-16, U-17, Youth and Substitutes League, as well as women's U-16 and Higher League teams.
The main goal of the project is to develop an analytical approach in Azerbaijani football, to form a wider information base for coaches and clubs, as well as to closely monitor the development process of young football players.
The second phase of the "Eyeball" platform has already been completed. During this period, more than 75 games were analyzed through the system. Within the framework of the second phase, regional clubs "Shamakhi", "Gabala", "Turan Tovuz" and "Kapaz" were provided with VEO cameras and access to the platform.
Meetings were held with club representatives and coaching staff, and they were given detailed information about the use, technical capabilities and working principle of the platform.
An additional opportunity has also been created for clubs within the framework of the project. From now on, teams will be able to record not only their games, but also their training processes with VEO cameras. This will allow coaches to analyze the preparation process in more detail, work on tactical work and more accurately monitor the development dynamics of football players.
From the next season, the games of all clubs playing in the lower age groups will be fully recorded and uploaded to the "Eyeball" platform and analyzed. This step is important in terms of creating a unified video and analytical base in the country's football, as well as increasing technological opportunities for clubs.
