İdman.biz reports that these words were said by Zira's football player Ceyhun Nuriyev in his statement to Sport24.az.
He shared his thoughts on being invited to the Azerbaijan national team: "I am very happy to be called up. As every true Azerbaijani, I am proud to be here and play. We have 2 tough tests ahead of us. It doesn't matter to us if it's a friendly game. We will give our best on the field. Hopefully, we will achieve a result that suits us."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team will play a friendly match against Latvia on June 7 and against Hungary in Baku three days later.
