Casemiro says Neymar must play in the 2026 World Cup

Manchester United's Brazilian midfielder Casemiro believes that Santos forward Neymar will be a valuable asset for the Selecao at the 2026 World Cup.

Idman.Biz reports that at the 2026 World Cup, Brazil will play in Group C with Morocco, Haiti and Scotland.

"Neymar has nothing to prove to anyone. If he is in top form, there should be no discussion [regarding his participation in the World Cup]. Neymar has to play there; he is the star of the Brazilian national team," ESPN quoted Casemiro as saying.

This season, in 11 matches, Neymar has scored four goals and provided three assists.
