A dispute broke out between Arsenal's sporting director Andrea Berta and Atletico's head coach Diego Simeone in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final (1-0). Sport24.az reports that Marca has reported this.
According to the source, towards the end of the match, when the score was 1-0 in favor of the London team, Berta complained to the fourth official about the added time. This angered Simeone. The 54-year-old coach of the Madrid club pushed the Italian, which led to a fight on the sidelines.
It should be noted that Berta previously worked as Atletico's technical director for 3 years, and from 2017 to 2025 he worked as the team's sports director.
