Barcelona has reached an agreement in principle with Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva. This was reported by Diario Sport, according to Sport24.az.
According to the source, an agreement of almost 80 percent has been reached for the 31-year-old Portuguese to join the Catalan club as a free agent. However, the final decision rests with Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick.
To comply with the club's financial constraints and La Liga's salary limit, Silva has agreed to a 60 percent reduction in his salary.
It should be noted that the Portuguese footballer has been playing for City since 2017. Silva has played 454 games in all competitions, scoring 76 goals and providing 77 assists. Transfermarkt estimates his value at 27 million euros.
