The Azerbaijan national team, winner of the "FIFA Series – 2026" international tournament, has been awarded.
According to "Report", Elvin Jafarquliyev was named the best player of the tournament in our country.
Subsequently, medals were given to the members of the Sierra Leone national team. Later, prizes were awarded to the winner of the competition.
The event was attended by AFFA Executive Vice President Sarkhan Hajiyev, General Secretary Jahangir Farajullayev, and officials of the Sierra Leone Football Association.
It is worth recalling that the Azerbaijan national team defeated the Saint Lucia team with a score of 6:1 in the first match of the tournament. The main time of the match with Sierra Leone ended in a draw (1:1). The Azerbaijani team, which was more accurate in the penalty shootout, became the winner of the tournament.
