According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the Austrian left the club after his contract with Inter expired and moved to Crvena Zvezda.
At the press conference, Marko said that he once promised the late Siniša Mihajlović that he would wear the Serbian club's jersey one day.
"When we were in Bologna, he told me this every day. I am here because I promised him that I would wear this jersey one day. I promised Siniša that one day I would go to Crvena Zvezda and here I am.
In these two days that I have come to the stadium, I have cried more than I have cried in my life. I spoke to his family. I had promised Siniša that I would go to Crvena Zvezda and here I am."
