United Lotteries for Integrity in Sports (ULIS) has presented its monthly report on match-fixing.
Idman.biz reports that 58 suspected incidents were recorded in May.
54 of these matches, or 93%, were recorded in football. Three matches were in esports, and one match was in basketball. Compared to April, the number of suspected incidents decreased from 124 to 58. Most match-fixing was recorded in Europe - 21. This figure was 17 in Asia, 10 in South America, 9 in Australia and Oceania, 2 in Africa, and 1 in North America.
ULIS received information on 6 suspected matches before the game, 28 during the match, and 24 after the match ended.
