President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

The President of Azerbaijan stated that Eid al-Adha, which is a symbol of spiritual unity and solidarity of the world's Muslims, as one of the main holidays of Islam, through which the Almighty Creator has chosen the path of guidance for humanity, always calls people to equality, brotherhood, and self-sacrifice.
"The Qurban ceremonies, which further strengthen the feelings of humanism and benevolence in our society, are held in Azerbaijan every year with high spirits and solemnity. In these days, prayers are offered for the progress of our state, the welfare and peace of our people, and the bright memory of our martyrs is commemorated with respect. I express my hope that your pure intentions, prayers and wishes will come true, and the mercy of the Almighty God will never be lacking from our people," President Ilham Aliyev emphasized.
