The draw for the group stage of the AFC Asian Cup 2027, which will be held in Riyadh, took place yesterday. According to Sport24.az, a total of 24 teams will compete in the tournament.
The top two teams from each group and the four best third-placed teams will qualify for the round of 16. The first stage of the play-offs will be held on January 22-25, the quarter-final matches on January 28-29, and the semi-final matches on February 1-2. The decisive match of the tournament will be held on February 5 at the King Fahd Stadium.
The Asian Cup, which will be held in 2027, will be held in Saudi Arabia from January 7 to February 5, 2027. This will be Saudi Arabia's debut tournament as a host.
It should be noted that the last winner of the competition is the Qatar national team.
