The composition of the Azerbaijani national teams, which will participate in the European Chess Championship to be held in Batumi, Georgia, has been approved.
Idman.biz reports with reference to AZERTAC that Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Rauf Mammadov, Mahammad Muradli, Aydin Suleymanli and Eltaj Safarli have been included in the Azerbaijani team of male chess players. The captain of the team will be Teymur Rajabov.
Ulviyya Fataliyeva, Govhar Beydullayeva, Gulnar Mammadova, Khanim Balajayeva and Ayan Allahverdiyeva have been invited to the Azerbaijani women's national team. Ilaha Gadimova has been approved as the captain, and Nijat Abasov as the coach.
The position of chess players on the boards will be announced on the eve of the competition.
It should be noted that the continental championship will start on October 5.
