UFC fighter Abdul-Rahman Yahyaev announced his aspirations in the organization after his early victory over Brendson Ribeiro.
Idman.Biz reports that the Chechen-born athlete, competing under the Turkish flag, intends to approach a title fight as soon as possible.
"I would like to fight for the title immediately. But if I mention Ulberg or Prochazka, they won't give them to me. In that case, it doesn't matter, give me any opponent," said Yahyaev.
The fighter also thanked the fans for their support:
"I thank everyone who watched my fight and worried about me. I'm glad that the fight lasted more than 40 seconds, so there was at least something to watch. Three minutes is enough."
Thus, Yahyaev made it clear that he is determined to advance rapidly in the division and plans to approach a championship fight in the near future.
