The women's kumite team added another medal to Azerbaijan's tally at the European Karate Championship held in Frankfurt, Germany.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to prosport.az that our team defeated Ukraine 2:1 in the bronze medal match.
This also confirmed our team's participation in the World Cup, which will be held in Guangzhou, China in November.
It should be noted that earlier Madina Sadigova (55 kg) won gold, and Irina Zaretska (68 kg) won bronze. Also, three parakaratekas - Vidadi Khaligov, Farrukh Gaybaliyev and Aysel Ahmadli won bronze medals.
