"I felt my condition getting worse and worse when leaving Baku".
These words were said by Azerbaijani MMA fighter Vugar Karamov, who was poisoned a few days ago and therefore could not participate in the Rizin tournament planned to be held in Japan.
He told offsideplus.az that he is feeling relatively better now:
"I wasn't feeling well when I boarded the plane in Baku. After a while, I started to feel nauseous. When I arrived in Japan, my condition worsened even more. When I went for a check-up, the doctors said I was poisoned. They didn't allow me to fight. It's for the best. I hope I can recover soon and return to the fights".
It should be noted that Vugar Karamov was supposed to fight his Japanese opponent Koyomi Matsushima today.
Our representative has won 7 of the 10 fights he has held in the Rizin organization.
