Azerbaijani fighter Tofiq Musayev not only won against Chilean Ignacio Bahamondes at the "UFC Fight Night 271" tournament held in Seattle, but also stood out with a financial reward.
Idman.Biz reports that the match between Musaev and Bahamondes was chosen as the best fight of the night ("Fight of the Night"). Both athletes were awarded an additional bonus of $100,000 USD (170,000 AZN) for this nomination.
This lightweight bout, characterized by its intensity, ended with Tofiq Musaev's victory by unanimous decision. Our fighter managed to come back and take the lead, even after being knocked down at the beginning of the second round.
It should be noted that former champion Alexa Grasso and American Joe Pyfer won the other bonuses of the tournament. They were awarded the "Performance of the Night" award for their early victories over their opponents.
With this result, Tofiq Musayev crowned his first victory in the UFC with a significant financial reward.
