Azerbaijani fighter Tofiq Musayev made an interesting statement after his victory over Chilean Ignacio Bahamondes at the "UFC Fight Night 271" tournament held in Seattle.
Idman.Biz reports that our representative stated that the city of Seattle was successful for him and that he emerged victorious from all the fights he held there.
He emphasized that he is not afraid of the strength of his opponents and always fights against the strongest:
"Thanks to God, people whose hearts and intentions are with God have always emerged victorious from the fight. This is just the beginning."
Tofiq Musayev also admitted that he was seriously injured during the fight, but did not back down:
"My arm was broken during the fight, and I continued the fight like that. A strong-willed athlete enjoys pain. If there is pain, if there is suffering, we are alive. First of all, it is necessary to overcome pain and suffering."
The fighter noted that his next goal is to participate in the tournament to be held in Azerbaijan:
"Let the doctors check, if my health is okay, I want to fight on the Baku card."
