Merab Dvalishvili Rises to Second Place in UFC Rankings and Will Be a Star Guest at the Baku Tournament

Following the UFC 316 tournament held last weekend in Newark, USA, the UFC fight promoter has updated the rankings.

Idman.biz reports that Georgian Merab Dvalishvili, the world champion in the bantamweight division (61 kg), has risen to second place in the organization's list of best fighters after his victory in the rematch against American Sean O'Malley.

Dvalishvili and former UFC welterweight champion American Belal Muhammad will be the star guests of the UFC tournament in Baku.

The tournament will be held on June 21 at the "Baku Crystal Hall".

The main fight of the UFC night in Baku will be between former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamaal Hill and Khalil Rountree, who fought for this title.

The second main fight of the night will be between our compatriot Rafael Fiziev in the lightweight division and Ignacio Bahamondes (Chile).

Other representatives of Azerbaijan, Nazim Sadykhov and Tofig Musayev, will also enter the octagon at the tournament. Their opponents will be Brazilian Nikola Motta and Kyrgyz Mkytybek Orolbay, respectively.
