Russian former UFC champion Islam Makhachev spoke about the organization's rankings.
Idman.Biz reports that Makhachev explained the reasons why he does not believe in the rankings.
"I don’t think about the rankings, because... Who creates the rankings? I can influence my ability to become a UFC champion, but I can’t influence the rankings. Some people create them... I don’t believe in them; I do what I can," Makhachev said.
Let us remind you that Makhachev will fight Australian Jack Della Maddalena for the UFC welterweight title at UFC 322, which will be held in New York on November 16.
