Azerbaijani taekwondo fighter Eltaj Gafarov (+82 kg) lost to Kazakh athlete Baurzhan Khassenov 1:2 in the 1/2 final of the VI Islamic Solidarity Games, which are currently taking place in Riyadh.
Idman.Biz reports that Gafarov is now waiting for a fight for third place.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters have won two medals so far at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games: a silver medal - Minaya Akbarova (48 kg) and a bronze medal - Gashim Magomedov (60 kg).
