Terence Crawford, the undefeated former undisputed world champion in three weight classes, spoke decisively about a possible return to the ring.
İdman.Biz reports that he said he was happy with his decision.
"I'm happy with everything. What else can I do? What else can I achieve? I'm happy with what I've achieved in boxing, I'm grateful, I'm content, I'm gracious, and I'm thankful. What better way to end my career? Ending my career brought comfort, but it also brought mixed emotions.
I thought, 'damn, this is my first love, and it's all coming to an end'. I'm happy that I reached the pinnacle of boxing and that I don't have to go through all that again. I was saddened that I had to give up something I loved so much. It feels great to be one of the pioneers paving the way for young and upcoming fighters," The Ring magazine quotes Crawford as saying.
