The Azerbaijani national team, which succeeded in the "KWU-SENSHI" World Cup held in the cities of Varna and Kamchia, Bulgaria, has returned to the Motherland.

Qabil Sayadov, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation and Azerbaijani representative for "KWU-WFKF", who leads the national team, appreciated the team's performance and expressed his deep gratitude to the head of the country Ilham Aliyev, the president of the Federation Ulvi Guliyev and the board of directors for the high conditions created: "These results are based on the attention paid to sports in our country and the continuous support of the federation leadership. We are doing our best to be worthy of this trust. Two of our athletes who distinguished themselves in the competition, Seljan Babayeva (16-17 years old, +65 kg) won a gold medal, and Javid Kazimli (16-17 years old, +75 kg) won a silver medal, writing the next successful results in the sports history of Azerbaijan. This achievement of young karate fighters is a clear example of the long-term efforts and professional training process of their personal coaches Vidadi Khalilov and Vusal Mammadov.
Touching on future plans, Qabil Sayadov said: "SENSHI" competitions are a highly reputable platform on a global scale. In the coming months, we plan to perform in this arena with a stronger team. The training process has already been organized in a phased and systematic manner. Our goal is not only to win medals, but also to systematically promote and strengthen Azerbaijani karate in the international arena."
Elperes Sayadov, the head coach of our national team for teenagers and youth, also played a special role in the development of young athletes during the preparation stage of the competition. Under his leadership, the next generation of karate fighters is systematically and gradually prepared for international arenas.
