Idman.biz reports that this was stated by Agasi Mammadov, coach of the Azerbaijani national youth team, in his statement to "Report."
He stated that they were satisfied with the team's performance: "Our athletes shocked their opponents with their results. We will continue to shake the world in boxing. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkey, which are well-known countries in this sport, came to Baku with their leading athletes. They participated in the competition with the first team. The number 1, 2 and 3 boxers of all three teams entered the ring. And our children defeated them all. Saftar Mammadzadeh (+80 kg) knocked out boxers considered among the strongest among youth."
Mammadov said that the national team will have a training camp in 10-15 days. He said that they will seriously prepare for the upcoming international tournaments and the European Championship.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani boxing national team became the winner of the Heydar Aliyev Cup-2025 international youth tournament held in Baku.
