The 2026/2027 season of the Azerbaijan Basketball League will start today.
İdman.Biz reports that in the opening game of the first round, the defending champion "Sabah" will face "LANDAU Lions".
The match, to be held at the Baku Sports Palace, will start at 19:30.
Note that the other games of the first round will be played on October 2, 3, and 4.
Recall that in the final series of the 2025/26 season, "Sabah" defeated the "LANDAU Lions", previously known as "Abşeron Lions", with a 3:0 score.
