The "Ganja" basketball club continues to strengthen its squad with local players.
Idman.Biz reports that the regional representative has transferred Fikrat Alekberov, who last season played for "Neftchi".
The term of the contract signed with the 22-year-old basketball player has not been disclosed.
Alekberov also played for "Neftchi" in the FIBA European Cup last season. He previously played for "Quba" and wore the uniform of the Azerbaijan U-20 national team.
Note that Fikrat Alekberov is the next local basketball player to be recruited by "Ganja" for the new season. Earlier, a contract was signed with Alibey Mammadli until the end of the upcoming season.
