The free athletic training among schoolchildren within the framework of the "Baku 2026 - World Sports Capital" project shows its effectiveness.
İdman.Biz reports that the Ministry of Youth and Sports has released information about this.
According to the information, after the training organized for the primary school students of the selected schools in the Nərimanov district, five students were involved in professional training groups.
One of the students - Shahram Hajiyev, a third-grade student of a secondary school No. 45, achieved a successful result in his first competition.
Shahram Hajiyev, who participated in the "Kids Athletics Run" competition dedicated to Children's Athletics Day, organized by the Athletics Federation of Azerbaijan on May 31 at Baku Boulevard, won a silver medal in the 600-meter run among participants born in 2017-2018.
Note that his coach is Ramal Veliyev.
