The National Wrestling Tournament was held at the Masalli Olympic Sports Complex.
Idman.biz reports that young freestyle wrestlers from various cities and regions of the country participated in the competition, which was supported by the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation.
In the tournament organized for the U-15 age group, Isa Nurullayev (32 kg, Masalli), Farid Gasimov (35 kg, Gymnasium), Sadiq Ismayilov (38 kg, AHITA), Ramal Hajiyev (41 kg, Ganja), Ali Baloglanov (44 kg, Masalli), Ziraddin Rzayev (48 kg, Lankaran), Mirdjalal Huseynov (52 kg, Ganja), Ruhid Isperov (57 kg, AHITA), Siyasat Dadashzade (62 kg, Lankaran), Islam Rajabli (68 kg, AHITA) and Aykhan Tagili (75 kg, Shagan) climbed to the highest step of the podium.
It should be noted that the competition, which was attended by more than 200 wrestlers, was managed by international and national level referees.
