He stated that his efforts were not fruitless in the final: "Therefore, I thank my coaches. God willing, I will try to win a gold medal at the upcoming World Championship as well."
Let us remind that V. Bagirov won a hard-fought victory in the final against Georgian Nika Zangaladze. The graduate of the Ganja wrestling school, who finished the first half with a score of 5:6, secured his advantage after the break - 9:6. Thus, V. Bagirov, who won a silver medal at the U-20 European Championship last year, became the champion this time.
