The U-23 European Championship organized in Zrenjanin, Serbia continues.
İdman.Biz reports that women wrestlers will join the competition on the third day of the tournament.
From the national team, Asmar Cankurtaran (50 kg), Gultakin Shirinova (55 kg), and Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg) will step onto the mat.
Among the freestyle wrestlers, Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg) will face Armenian Levik Mikayelyan in the final, Ali Tsokayev (92 kg) will face Turkish Fatih Altunbaş, and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) will face Russian Habib Davudgadjiev.
Aganazar Novruzov (74 kg) and Vasif Khudiyev (86 kg) will compete for the bronze medal.
It should be noted that freestyle wrestlers Vasif Baghirov (57 kg) and Sabuhi Amiraslanov (79 kg) previously won silver medals, while Musa Agayev (65 kg), Ramik Heybatov (70 kg), and Zafar Aliyev (97 kg) won bronze medals.
The European Championship will conclude on March 15.
