The U-17 World Wrestling Championship continues in Athens, the capital of Greece.
Idman.biz reports that freestyle wrestlers started the competition on the fifth day of the World Cup.
Two of our wrestlers who entered the mat qualified for the semi-finals.

Ravan Hasanzada defeated Belarusian Makar Markovich (UWW) with a full advantage (12:0) and Uzbek Jahangir Tulkunov with a score of 4:2 and advanced to the semi-finals. Ravan wrestled American Ariah Mills in the semi-finals. Our representative, who lost with a score of 2:7, will compete for bronze.
