Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Rashid Babazade (65 kg) performed successfully at the European Championship held in Tirana.
Idman.Biz reports that our wrestler qualified for the bronze medal match by winning 4:2 against Belgian Ayub Musayev.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Islam Bazarqanov (57 kg) will face Musa Mextixanov (UWW) in the final of the European Championship held in Tirana.
Our other representative, Jabrail Hajiyev (79 kg), will face Rasul Shapiyev, representing North Macedonia, for the bronze medal.

Today, five Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers will compete at the European Championship held in Tirana, the capital of Albania.
Idman.Biz reports that Nureddin Novruzov (61 kg), Turan Bayramov (74 kg), Arseni Cioyev (86 kg), Ali Tsokayev (92 kg), and Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) will join the competition.
Rashid Babazade (65 kg) will face Ayub Musayev (Belgium) in the consolation match.
