Olympic champion Hitomi Obara dies at 44

Japanese Hitomi Obara, the 2012 Olympic wrestling champion, has died at the age of 44. Sport24.az reports that the World Wrestling Union (UWW) has released information about this.

 

The cause of death of the Japanese athlete has not been disclosed.

 

It should be noted that Obara was the winner of the London Olympics in the 48 kg weight category and also won the title of world champion 8 times in different years.
