The Azerbaijani representative won another victory on the final day of the Greco-Roman wrestling ranking tournament in Budapest.
Idman.biz reports that our Greco-Roman wrestler Nihat Mammadli (60 kg) defeated Mammadli Georgi Tibilov (Serbia) 3:2 in the 1/4 finals.

9 representatives of the Azerbaijani national team will compete on the mat on the final day of the Greco-Roman wrestling ranking tournament in Budapest.
Idman.biz reports that the fight for medals will take place in 7 weight categories.
Our wrestlers Nihat Mammadli, Ilkin Gurbanov (both 60 kg), Ziya Babashov (63 kg), Farid Khalilov (67 kg), Sanan Suleymanov, Ulvi Ganizade (both 77 kg), Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg), Murad Ahmadiyev and Arif Niftullayev (both 97 kg) will face rivals from South Korea, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Moldova, Turkey, as well as India.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani team has currently won 7 medals: one gold, three silver and three bronze.
