According to the employee of "Report", who was seconded to Ganja, the team consisting of Abbas Huseynov, Nahid Mammadli, Rasul Aliyev and Timur Husnaddinov defeated the Belarusian team with a score of 45:40 in the 1/4 finals and became rivals to the Russian team in the semi-finals.
Our sabre fencers lost to their opponent with a score of 32:45 on the way to the final and were satisfied with the bronze medal.
