Giorgi Meshvildishvili Wins Gold Medal in Warsaw

An international wrestling tournament was held in Warsaw from July 30 to August 3.

Idman.biz reports that Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) represented our country in freestyle wrestling at the traditional competition organized in memory of famous Polish wrestlers.

The experienced wrestler, who missed the ranking tournament in Hungary last month due to an injury, performed successfully in Warsaw. The Olympic bronze medalist and European champion defeated all his opponents and climbed to the highest step of the podium.
