Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers will compete in important matches on the final day of the European Championship held in Tirana, the capital of Albania.

In the final, Turan Bayramov (74 kg) will face Taymuraz Salmazanov (Slovakia), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg) will face Ibrahim Kadiyev (UWW), Ali Tsokayev (92 kg) will face Ahmed Batayev (Bulgaria), and Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) will face Vladislav Baytsayev (Hungary).
Nureddin Novruzov (61 kg) will compete against Arsen Harutyunyan (Armenia) for a bronze medal.
It should be noted that Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) and Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg) from Greco-Roman wrestling became European champions earlier. Rashad Mammadov (55 kg), Nihat Mammadli (60 kg) and Islam Abbasov (87 kg) won bronze medals. Our national team in Greco-Roman wrestling took first place in the team standings.
