The U-17 World Wrestling Championship, held in Baku, continues today.
Idman.Biz reports that on the fifth day of the competition, five Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers will join the competition.

Among the female wrestlers, Gulshan Shirinova (40 kg) will face Azzaya Battulga (Mongolia), and Fatima Bayramova (53 kg) will face Maria Jitovoz (Hungary) in the consolation round.
Earlier, our Greco-Roman wrestlers Ali Javadli (45 kg), Abdurrahman Huseynli (51 kg), and Isfandiyar Hasanov (80 kg) won silver medals. Omar Salmanov (48 kg), Elmir Cherkazov (60 kg), and Orkhan Habibli (65 kg) were satisfied with bronze medals.
Note that the World Championship is held at the National Gymnastics Arena. More than 700 young wrestlers from over 60 countries are participating in the competition. 29 wrestlers represent Azerbaijan at the championship.
