Azerbaijani weightlifter Musab Mammadtaghiyev won 2 gold and 1 silver medal at the U-15 and youth European Championship held in Madrid, the capital of Spain.

On the second day of the competition, Musab Mammadtaghiyev competed in the U-15 category. Our representative, who competed in the 56 kg weight category, won a gold medal by showing a result of 93 kg in the snatch. Musab also performed successfully in the clean and jerk. This time, he lifted 109 kg and won a silver medal.
Thus, our athlete, who achieved a result of 202 kg in the total of two movements, won the title of European champion.
