Azerbaijan's women's and youth table tennis teams have continued their successful performances in the Eurasian League held in Kazakhstan.
İdman.Biz reports with reference to the press service of the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation that the national women's team won all the matches of the second round held in Astana. The team led by head coach Farhad Ismayilov included Zemfira Mikayilova, Marziyya Nurmatova, Laman Abdulhamidova, and Aylin Asgarova.
Our national team won all eight games in Astana. The youth national team also achieved the same success in the city of Taraz. The team led by Ramil Jafarov, consisting of Rustam Hajili, Adil Ahmadzadeh, and Onur Guluzade, won all seven matches.

Based on the results of the two rounds, both of our teams have risen to the lead in the tournament table, where 12 teams are competing.
It should be noted that representatives from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan are competing in the Eurasian League. The next rounds of the competition are scheduled for September and December. After the first round held in March, the Azerbaijani women's team won seven out of eight games and took second place, while the youth team won five out of six games in the first round.
